for Worship

SUNDAY MORNINGS at 10:00 AM

IN THE SANCTUARY OR VIA LIVESTREAM.

To worship is to shower attention on God! It is to carve out time to be with God, and in the company of others, give thanks and praise, often with singing!  It is to listen for what God would have us know through scripture, reflection, and prayer. It is an expression of LOVE for God which grows from God’s LOVE for us.

Upcoming Events

  • MAY 26 - WORSHIP

Join us for two special events on one special Sunday!

We will welcome Vani & Shanti Pradhan of Nepal as they pay us a visit during their time in the United States. They will bring greetings during the service and be available for conversations during Fellowship Hour.

AND we have invited recent and soon-to-be GRADUATES associated with our congregation (high school, college, and post-graduate) to be with us so we may celebrate their accomplishments and bless them on their journeys! Greet them during Fellowship Hour, too.

  • JUNE 2 – ANNUAL CHURCH PICNIC

If you’re nostalgic for the bygone days of fellowship, fun, and food, pine away no more! The Christian Education Committee is planning a CHURCH PICNIC for the first Sunday in June after worship.

Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided. Everyone is invited to bring a side dish or dessert and a (non-alcoholic) beverage of your choice. A sign-up sheet will be on the white table beginning May 5, so we can estimate how many folks will be attending.

  • JUNE 19 - PAST RECKONING: SESSION THREE

This is a three-part series created by the Racial Reconciliation Working Group of the Moravian-Episcopal Coordinating Committee. This is a video-based series that features the racial history of the Moravian and Episcopal Churches. The first session will be two hours as we meet and lay the groundwork for our time together. Session three will be 1½ hours in length—40 minutes to view the video and the remainder of the time will be for discussion. We will meet at College Hill Moravian Church, 72 West Laurel Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018.

Our last meeting will be on June 19 (1 PM–2:30PM) to view and discuss “The Church and the City: Integration, Segregation and White Flight”.

This series will be facilitated by Linda Toggart, Spiritual Director, and we are delighted to also welcome Rev. Maria

Tjeltveit, an Episcopal Priest and the co-chair of the Moravian-Episcopal Coordinating Committee and chair of the Racial Reconciliation Working Group who birthed this project.

All are welcome to join us on this journey. If you have any questions please call Linda Toggart at 610-217-1971.
